Life-limiting conditions are defined as those where a child is not expected to reach 18 years of age.
Hummingbird House delivers best practice paediatric palliative care for children affected by life-limiting conditions and their families. It provides access to short break stays, family support services, creative therapies, and care at the end of life, and works to meet the needs of each individual child and their family. It is free of charge for families who need it, for as long as they need it.

Hummingbird House has eight guest in care suites, 5 self-contained family units, a rooftop terrace and garden, pool, multi-sensory room, teen retreat, all abilities accessible bath, craft and play room, large dining and lounge space, rock-climbing wall, big backyard with a treehouse, and a dedicated suite for care at the end of life.
